Patients in north-west Norfolk have a completely updated GP Surgery following extensive refurbishment and expansion work to the Bayfield Surgery in Docking, which has effectively seen the building physically turned around 180 degrees.
The refurbished surgery boast five consulting rooms, two patient treatment rooms, a bigger reception and patient waiting area, a modern dispensary and car parking area.
Building work started in January as part of the National GP Upgrade Programme –
a fund aimed at increasing and improving GP training. An investment of £400,000
by the practice partners was matched by £400,000 from NHS Norfolk.
During the refurbishment the surgery provided normal service from a temporary surgery, located at another location in Docking.
