MNIS Ltd are a well-established expanding company based in King’s Lynn, with customers throughout the UK and into mainland Europe.
We are looking for a Trainee iSeries application and operation support person to join our team, the role will also extend to developing programs and proving support for other third part pc products. Essentially, you will have a :
- Strong interest in software development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- With a sound understanding of Microsoft windows based products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified IT student or an enthusiastic candidate looking for an entry level IT software support/development role, with the ability to learn and progress within the company.
This role will offer you real variety and the opportunity to get involved in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support. A variety of training will be provided based on our business requirements. As a Trainee Application support programmer you will be jointly responsible for ensuring the ongoing availability of IT systems, through providing support for both hardware and software. This role will involve logging helpdesk calls, problem diagnosis and resolution. Whilst principally based at our head office in King’s Lynn, you must be willing to travel to our client sites around the UK, so a full UK driving license and a flexible approach is required.
